Cannot enter new words into spellchecker

Cannot enter new words into spellchecker. The intructions are greyed out and lifeless. Help!!!

Greetings–
You could try the following:

1. Click Tools | Options… > Spellcheck

2. Press the Spellcheck Systems & Dictionaries button

3. Select the relevant Spellcheck System in the upper left box

4. If no User dictionary is available in the User dictionaries box, create one by pressing the New… button.

5. Save the newly-created User dictionary, and close all open dialogs.

The instructions to add new words to the spellchecker should now be functional in the Spellcheck dialog or from the right-click context menu.

To let you in on a bit of news, we found Atlantis wanting in this respect and the next release of Atlantis will be more user-friendly regarding this. When Atlantis finds a custom dictionary missing, it will automatically create one so that entries can be added right away.
