I note that using Crtl-left to move back along the line does not take me to the start of the word n a line, but the end of the previous word n the line above. This is very confusing.
I also note that Chtrl-F for search always searches for the word under the curser. I often want to look through for a specific word and sometimes change it. It is then very confusing if the word I just searched for suddenly gets replaced in the search window by the word I was just on.

Soft line breaks and searching
Ctrl+Left never takes to the end of the previous word. It always takes to the beginning of the word. Are you sure that you use Ctrl+Left?I note that using Crtl-left to move back along the line does not take me to the start of the word n a line, but the end of the previous word n the line above.
Please uncheck the "Tools | Options > Edit > Find word at cursor" box.I also note that Chtrl-F for search always searches for the word under the curser. BUt when the word is at the start of a line, then the cursor (usually) gets positioned after the space at the end of the line above. Then arrow right takes it to the second letter of the first word on the line and arrow left back to the start of the line.Ctrl+Left never takes to the end of the previous word. It always takes to the beginning of the word. Are you sure that you use Ctrl+Left?

You are probably using Ctrl+Home instead of Ctrl+Left.

I don't know where your Home key is, but mine is nowhere near the left cursor. And I said the end of the previous line, not the start of the document ;-)Robert wrote: You are probably using Ctrl+Home instead of Ctrl+Left.

I really am using the Ctrl-left keys, but confusingly the "start" of the first word in the line is apparently before the soft carriage return. Often but apparently not always.
I just did a check. If I open a file, then the cursor stops at the start of the line, but when I change one character (add a space) then it starts stopping at the end of the previous line.

Thanks for reporting this to us. Indeed, this is a technical glitch in the current public version of Atlantis. It is now fixed and the next Atlantis release will no longer have it. Thanks again.
