Cod-files & templates

Post by Prince »

I was working on a template for cd-covers (don't know if that makes a lot of sense, but I saw something similar with the OpenWriter) and saved it as a template in cod-format. Shockingly I wasn't asked for a password when saving and also when opening.

You might think it as a weird thing but following that there is one (just one) way to open a cod-file without password. But therefor it has to be saved first as a template.

And, yes, you can create a cd-cover with Atlantis. Everything else would be more a surprise.

First, Atlantis could not open a COD file if you do not provide it with a correct password. No backdoors are possible. But there was another problem. When you saved a document as template, Atlantis simply ignored your choice of the target document format. A newly created document template always had the format of the source document.

A fix included to the latest build. Thanks.

I have to say that I do not like a feature of the template-function in the new version. In the old version by tipping the first letter the first doc was marked starting with this letter. By pressing ENTER it was opened.

That was really quick. Now I need more time.

You can still do this. But you need to click the list of templates first, then type letters.

I just tipped the first letter and the first template starting with this letter was marked.
