Signature File, Help

Post by k3zr »

In the Clip Folders, how can I delete the Steven Clark" "With Signature 1" and the Rick L. Lawren, "With Signature 2" and add my own? It's probably mentioned in the "Help" file, but I haven't come across it yet.

Thanks,

-Pete

You can modify any clip. You could right-click the desired clip in the "Clips" box of the Clip Library panel, and choose the "Edit" command from the menu. Alternatively you could click the "Organize" button of the Clip Library panel, then click the "View Clip Library Folder" button, locate and double-click the desired clip. In both cases, the desired clip would be opened in Atlantis (or another word processor). You should simply replace the sample signature image with your own signature.

The "With Signature 1" and "With Signature 2" clips are ordinary RTF documents. You can open them in Atlantis, modify, and save them as RTF. But you cannot save them as BMP files.

The "With Signature" clips include text and a graphic (a signature). You should adjust both the text and graphic. You should type your name instead of the sample name ("Steven Clark" or "Rick L Lawren"). You should also replace the sample signature (a graphic, a picture) with your own graphic. For this you need your signature in any graphic format supported by Atlantis (BMP, GIF, JPEG, etc). If you have such a graphic file on your hard disk, use the "Insert | Picture" command of Atlantis to insert your graphic file to this clip. If you have a scanner, you could use it to create such a graphic file, and save it to your hard disk.

Then press Ctrl+S to save your clip.
