Adressbook
Adressbook
I have just created a new adressbook with addresses following the german rules. What means that there is an empty line between the street and the place. But when opening again, all information after the empty line is being erased.

One spacebar press on the empty line helps.Prince wrote: But when opening again, all information after the empty line is being erased.
Re: How to use empty lines INSIDE Addresses
Hi, PrincePrince wrote: I have just created a new adressbook with addresses following the german rules. What means that there is an empty line between the street and the place. But when opening again, all information after the empty line is being erased.
Blank lines are often created by pressing the ENTER key. But what is actually inserted is a paragraph end mark on its own, i.e. an empty paragraph.
Any paragraph end mark on its own (empty paragraph) in an Address Book is automatically interpreted by Atlantis as meaning "end of address above".
Consequently, you cannot insert blank lines INSIDE addresses by simply pressing the ENTER key. Empty paragraphs used as blank lines are only meant to be used to separate whole addresses.
As BuffyBot somehow suggested, if you want to create blank lines INSIDE your addresses, you should
1) type 2 space characters (press the space bar twice).
2) then press the ENTER key.
The 2 space characters + paragraph end mark will be kept by Atlantis.
Atlantis will then save and print your addresses as intended.
Cheers,
Robert
Re: How to leave empty lines INSIDE Addresses (2)
Hi, PrincePrince wrote: Well, thank you. This works.
The latest beta includes a fix for this:

You won't need to enter any extra space characters on your blank lines.
Simply press ENTER twice to create a blank line, Atlantis will save it with your address.
