magnifying the preview

Post by VJF »

1. When opening a file, one sees the preview. It might be much more comfortable, if, besides clicking on the preview-icon, clicking on the preview itself ALSO resulted in the preview in readable magnitude.

Is consequenter as well. (maybe this is the result of my still present longing for the old, best, WordPerfect.)

Hi!
Have you tried toggling both the magnifying and the preview modes on?

If you mean the Preview in the "Open document" dialog, you can double-click this preview for a bigger preview (100% zoom factor).

Obviously I didn't make myself clear.

When you click Ctrl-O, then click (''touch') a document, you will see a tiny, non-readable preview. To make THIS preview bigger, magnified, readable, NOW you have to click on the little icon ''show preview''. My suggetion is to be able to click on the unreadable preview (a much bigger surface) to make this preview make readable.

My suggestion, for the future, is of little importance, but make the temporary readability of a file a little easier.

It is NOT a problem I have.

Thanks for your answers nevertheless.

Hi!
As admin tried to explain, you don't need to click the Preview button, you only have to DOUBLE-CLICK the small "unreadable" thumbnail preview to get the full (bigger) preview.

Hi!
I have got a mouse with thumb button.
I have programmed this thumb button to emulate double-clicks.
In this way, I never have to give double-clicks.
I only have to give one click with the thumb.

:D

Robert
