Assignable Hot Keys?

Post by Max_Quordlepleen »

Having just browsed through the list of Hot Keys, I was wondering if it is possible to change the combinations assigned. For example, the "show document statistics" combination is Ctrl+K,W As I use this feature a lot, is it possible to assign it to a custom combination of just 2 keys? I am sure there are other functions that it would also be nice to be able to assign to one's own choice of keys.

Please keep in mind that a lot of the shortcuts in Atlantis are unusable by anyone who is not using an English keyboard. Configurable shortcuts would be a great help for that group of people.

Document Statistics

Doesn't the i for info icon do the same as the awkward hot key option for statistics? It's just below the ? on the top right of the display...

It's also the i in the Tools Menu but that says WORD COUNT...

Perhaps SHIFT F1 Hot Keys details could include the icons

Press SHIFT plus F1 for the hot keys info eg General Commands and Edit Commands etc. The shortcut keys could also include what the relevant icon would look like eg the i for info=Document Statistics/Word Count etc. Showing where it is on screen would help, too. Could these extra details be considered for future versions?

The next minor release (Atlantis Ocean Mind 1.5.1) will allow to customize hot keys.
