¿Can I work on a picture?
Atlantis a wordprocessor, not a graphics app. If you want a simple tool for the sort of basic editing you describe, try Irfanview, from http://www.irfanview.com It's free, small and will do the things you mention. One of the real beauties of Atlantis is that it does not try to do everything, and that keeps down the bloat.MaLTRaiN wrote: I try, but I can`t find a way of working on a picture. Picture/text editors/online helps
Microsoft Word can resize a picture and stretch it to about 90% of the A4 paper size. You click on a picture then start editing by the Format Menu... then Format Picture and adjust size and brightness and contrast.
In Atlantis software, there is an alternative for printing, since most printers have advanced features like contrast or sharpness or intensity.
I've also noticed a difference in regard to whether I set the printer for colour or for black or mono. Further adjustments can be set as to what quality paper is selected (even if it doesn't actually exist in the printer at the time). Settings can be customised as per the manual and this could lead you on to considering the picture or document resolution quality.
By adjusting intensity from the middle scale of what was available on my basic printer, I got more brightness for the printout. Nowadays, the better printers have wonderful quality and sometimes photo-realistic results, and special effects.
The graphics editors can be downloaded from various websites yet must be double-checked as to what the technical expertise of others can reveal to you eg spyware invading your pc, piggy-backing on the software and not fully explained in the terms and conditions!

For online graphics editors, try:
http://www.owens4.com/tools.html and
http://www.owens4.com/tools2.html
Scroll down to picture editors and compressors!
Many of these editors will adjust sizes, add effects, improve the focus or soften etc.
Otherwise check the PC magazines for freebies, but only the FULL PRODUCTS as they're safer to add to your PC...
I got Paint Shop Pro 5 last year from October's PC Format... It came with the brilliant Animation Shop.
I use Ability Office software as well for their Write FX text logo effects.
I have then created negative images of these to create animations, flashing logos...
More logos here:

http://www.iqauto.com
I hope these extra points help.
The flaming text headings lead to the STARBURST logo effect which is magnificent!
This uses colour codes!
Find these on:

http://colors.shows.it is a colors demo page taking a Gospel poem and then changing the background, the text, the links and visited links colors...
Using the Print Screen key to save website graphic displays copies the screen to the clipboard.
By cropping the image you can create different color combination effects.
A similar way of changing colors and text sizes is the Crecon Enlarger!
Tutorial: http://enlarger.knows.it
That leads you on the http://enlarger.shows.it
Type in a URL in the top text box to view it in the colors and text sizes you choose by clicking the extreme RIGHT link to OPTIONS. NB the X size is meant to keep the text EX-actly the same. Otherwise choose from 1 to 7 for the largest.
Lots to think about! That's what makes it exciting:

Did you know that Dreamcast consoles can use the Dreamkey 3 disk to change the ISP? I've got the Dreamcast and found it can ZOOM in on a picture thus helping examine thumbnails as well as titchy text!
http://dcb.does.it and http://dcbmessages.does.it and http://dcbcommands.does.it will explain further...
I used a Dreamcast special URL command on this recent website:

There are also website forums that can enlarge a forum picture with some java coding.
http://www.jtonline.info can do this. The ALT tag on a picture may display CLICK TO ENLARGE!
This forum also has boardskins for plain and bold to help enlarge the text even for Bush Internet set top box users! So many websites have tricks and tips to share...
My Atlantis software has been set up with exact margins and exact picture sizes to create full page posters.
I get copyright use of over 100,000 posters from http://www.allwall.com (art.com) as well as http://www.allposters.com Both can help set up online poster stores and search out favourite themes.
http://www.allposters.com also has its own email a poster and message service. So maybe there are some extra resources for you or visiting website creators. I signed up as a copyright associate with both of them and the websites above will serve as demos...
