html tags

Is there a quick and dirty way to add html tags to text?

I do not want to generate a full blown html file, I merely need to turn something like bold into <b>bold</b>

This is for converting text documents into a format which can be used with a content management system or cut and pasted into an html template.

Regrettably there is no way for doing this.

I keep a file of HTML tags in Atlantis, which I then cut and paste into my text file as i'm working with it. It may not be down and dirty, but it's worked for me for a couple years now. If you can cut and paste both open and close tag, then type your text in between them, it's pretty fast.
