Is there a way to open several Atlantic docs in separate windows. When I click on a new one, it replaces the old one in the same window. . . MS Word seems to open a 2nd doc in a new window, useful for comparisons or quick switching. . . Is there a setting for this in Atlantis?
thanks,
Eric

Opening doc in new window
I couldn't find how to have it open them that way, but it is easy to add a "Tile" button to the toolbar, making it a one-click operation, as in this shotEric Gibson wrote: Is there a way to open several Atlantic docs in separate windows. Every document in Atlantis has a separate window.
Every button of the Document Bar represents a separate window.
Simply click the desired butoon of the Document Bar to activate the corresponding document window.
The difference between Atlantis and MS Word is the following: MS Word adds buttons to the Windows Task Bar. Atlantis adds buttons to its Document Bar.

THis is not what I meant by separate window!!

ie in MS Word by "separate window" I mean you can look at 2 docs side by side, whereas in Atlantis an 2nd doc opens up in the same frame as the 1st, and covers the 1st unless you have horiz or vert tiling turned on (but then they become smaller, not as useful as a whole sep. window). The Atlantis way of opening up a 2nd doc in the same "frame" or window seems to be common to many Windows applications. . . . strange. . . in the Macintosh world (from which I just came) the common way seems to be to open up in a whole sep window (as does MS Word).
thanks,
