In Atlantis (I'm using 5.0.0.15) it seems like there isn't an option to select a particular Font Style that comes with the font. My preferred font is Palatino LT, with the Roman font style. When using other programs, such as Scrivener or Microsoft Notepad, the Roman style is an option. In Atlantis it seems to default to the medium style when using Palatino LT. Or is there somewhere else in the program where this would be selected?
For reference, here's how it looks in Scrivener:
And Windows 11 Notepad:

Specifying Font Style
Re: Specifying Font Style
I am not sure that this is compatible with MS Word documents.
Re: Specifying Font Style
I checked the version of Word I have (2021), and it appears to support font styles as well:
Re: Specifying Font Style
There are only 4 font styles in a MS Word document:
- non-bold + non-italic,
- non-bold + italic,
- bold + non-italic,
- bold + italic.
You get basically the same choices for this font family in both Atlantis and Word:
In Scrivener and Notepad, multiple versions of the Palatino font are offered as one font family with 10 font styles. In Atlantis and MS Word, you have three separate versions of the font with the standard font styles. By choosing the respective font version and font style, you can achieve the same text appearance in both Atlantis and Scrivener.
