Opening a saved document words are not displayed

Opening a saved document words are not displayed visible outline of sentences and paragraphs are in a blue shade. Selecting all and pasting/copying to a new page accomplishes nothing. Is this a formatting issue or what? Thanks for help.

If you are using Atlantis under Linux, please switch to any non-DirectWrite rendering method on the “Accessibility” tab of the “Tools | Options...” dialog of Atlantis.
