Note that there are two different special characters: a line break and a paragraph end mark. A line break instructs Atlantis to break the current line, and create a new line. A paragraph end mark instructs Atlantis to create a new paragraph.

To insert a paragraph end mark, press Enter.
To insert a line break, press Shift+Enter.

You could also use the "Edit | Special | Split Paragraphs" command to transform each paragraph line to a separate paragraph.

You could also use the "Edit | Find / Replace" dialog to replace the paragraph end marks with line breaks.

Thanks for the reply, but this isn't what I meant.

The MS Word has a feature that automatically adds line breaks when you save the file. This is useful to plain text documents intended for internet use, where you have to insert line breaks in every line. With this feature you can type all the text without hitting Enter, and when you save the file you'll have line breaks. Also these line breaks are removed when you're editing the file, so when you change the content of a line it'll automatically adjust the line break.

This is a suggestion for the next version.

Thanks

I wouldn't like it otherwise. ;)

But I guess you wanted to say that you are working on it, but have no schedule date you could tell us.
