If I cut a document from another word processor on my computer using my default font Arial 12 and paste it onto Atlantis which also has a default font of Arial 12 Atlantis changes the document to Times new roman 10. How can I paste my document onto Atlantis and have it appear as Arial 12 my default.

Atlantis pastes the clipboard contents "as is". If Atlantis pastes the clipboard contents as Times New Roman, this means that the clipboard text is formatted with Times New Roman. In other words, this is how that another word processor placed information onto the clipboard.

You could use the “Edit | Pate As Environment” command to paste the clipboard text without the accompanying formatting.
