How to Find characters in italic without having More open?

I would like to do searches for any formatting (I most often do it for italics) with the reduced height Find/Replace box. Is this possible?

This is not possible with a Find/Replace search. But you can use The Reveal Formatting panel of the Control Board. It will show you all italicized fragments in the document. You can select all of them together or individually:



When the Mouse Hover Previews option is checked in the settings menu of the Control Board, hovering over the hyperlinked fragments in the Reveal Formatting panel will cause Atlantis to show you a preview of the italicized fragments in the document window:
