Saving to PalmOS Doc format would be handy

Post by almunday »

As one who frequently prefers to read documents on my Palm handheld, I would welcome consideration of the possibility of being able to save directly to Palm Doc format, (NB. This is not the same as the Word Doc format). For that matter it would also be helpful to be able to import Palm Docs into Atlantis as well.

I note that Abiword can already do these things, but I prefer Atlantis as my default word processor.

An alternative might be to be able to include, perhaps under "Tools" the opportunity of a menu item to open up other softwares that one finds helpful from within Atlantis. PalmOS users could then cut and paste between third party PC desktop Palm Doc editors after opening them up. Perhaps this feature would be handy for others for other purposes as well in any case.
