Is it possible to make text vertical in Atlantis?
In a narrow table cell for example?

Hi Panopticus,
It is actually possible to make text vertical in Atlantis. You can place it either as
a) text in a table column
b) a picture in a table column
c) a picture watermark in a document header
Here is how to proceed:
You need to create the vertical text first:
1. Type the text that you want to make vertical.
2. Use the Ctrl+H dialog with
Find = ^?
Replace = ^&^l
3. Select and copy the results.
You can now simply paste the clipboard contents into a table column. See attached “Vertical Text in Atlantis Word Processor (1).docx”.

You can also create a new picture in a graphical software like MS Paint, and paste the clipboard contents into a text box. Adjust size and colors as desired. Save the picture, and paste it into a table column in Atlantis. See attached “Vertical Text in Atlantis Word Processor (2).docx”.

The same picture with vertical text can also be pasted as a floating picture into the header area of a document in Atlantis. You can then stretch the picture to cover most of the document page. It will act as a kind of watermark. See attached “Vertical Text in Atlantis Word Processor (3).docx”.

You need to create that kind of “vertical text” as a text box in a graphical software like MS Paint, and save the picture to your disk.

You can then paste it into a table column in Atlantis. See attached “Vertical Text in Atlantis Word Processor (2b).docx”.

The same picture with vertical text can also be pasted as a floating picture into the header area of a document in Atlantis. You can then stretch the picture to cover most of the document page. It will act as a kind of watermark. See attached “Vertical Text in Atlantis Word Processor (3b).docx”.
