convert footnotes into endnotes (and vice versa)?

Post by franklekens »

Before I start doing something manually only to find out later that I could have done it automatically: if you have a text containing a number of footnotes, there's no function in the programme to automatically conver these into endnotes, is there?

When the notes or note reference marks are selected in the document, you can use the corresponding command of the "Footnote" context toolbar:

Thanks, that already saves me a lot of work.

I do still have to do it one by one for every footnote, don't I?

To reply to my own question: no I don't! I can go to the footnote part of the document, select all (footnote mark + their content) and convert them all in one go.

Great.

Even simpler: just open your document, press Ctrl+A, then use the "Convert to endnote" command of the context "Footnote" toolbar.
