Page Numbering

Post by Rewlach »

Useful.

But it seems to be associated with the session and applied to all documents open at that time until turned off.

Is there a way of having page numbering applied to the document only, so that I can print out a long document with page numbers and a letter to an MP at the same time without having to turn page numbering on and off in between?

BTW - what is BBC Ode in this message board system? Is it a song in praise of the BBC? (On the message boards of which, for the Bull in The Archers, I slotted in a mention of Atlantis.)

This feature - "Tools | Page Numbering" - is a global feature indeed (affects all documents). It is a temporary feature because the present version of Atlantis does not support headers/footers. The next minor version of Atlantis will support headers/footers. Then you could specify the desired page numbering options for the desired portion of the desired document (note: headers/footers will be a section-based feature, in other words every document section might have its own set of headers/footers).

Excerpt from the FAQ of this Forum:

"BBCode is a special implementation of HTML. Whether you can actually use BBCode in your posts on the forum is determined by the administrator. In addition you can disable BBCode on a per post basis via the posting form. BBCode itself is similar in style to HTML, tags are enclosed in square braces [ and ] rather than < and > and it offers greater control over what and how something is displayed. Depending on the template you are using you may find adding BBCode to your posts is made much easier through a clickable interface above the message area on the posting form. Even with this you may find the following guide useful."
