Hangs up

Program hangs up. Takes 1-2 minutes to get back to normal. Any thoughts?

Which version of Atlantis (Help | About...)?
On which Windows system? 32 or 64 bit?
Which document format (DOC, DOCX, RTF)?
What exactly leads to these hang ups? Please give specifics.
