Hi,
In Atlantis 2.xx version the command "Paste as environment" was at the top level in the pop-up (context) menu. And one could call this command by using a keyboard accelerator: {App} => {E}. IMHO it was a very reasonable solution, because this command is one of the being most often used.
Now in the new version for some mystical reasons this command was moved as a sub-menu of the menu [Paste], what is very inconvenient for a such important command. Furthermore, neither the submenu [Paste] nor the command "Paste as environment" has not now any keyboard accelerator.
Could dear author consider restoring the previous location of the command at the top-level and to add / restore the keyboard accelerator.
Thanks!
P.S.
I know, that there a keyboard hotkey (Alt+Ctrl+Insert by default, which can be changed to any other custom combination). However it will be nice to have the both a keyboard accelerator and a shortcut / hotkey, as each of them should be used for different cases.

The right-click menus of versions 2.x and 3.x (at least they clipboard-related sections) are identical.
In 2.x+, "Paste as environment" is just one of 6 possible paste options.
Sorry, the old menu structure cannot be reinstated.
Yes, as you know, you can invoke the "Paste as environment" command both through the associated hot key and the toolbar button.

Yes, I actually meant the version 1.xx.admin wrote:The right-click menus of versions 2.x and 3.x (at least they clipboard-related sections) are identical.
Yes, but there are plenty of situations, when hotkeys are not usable, so one should use keyboard accelerators.admin wrote:Yes, as you know, you can invoke the "Paste as environment" command both through the associated hot key and the toolbar button.
So could you please at least restore the keyboard accelerators for the context menu sub-menu Paste &Options. The current situation is quite odd, as the menu entry [Paste as Environment] still has the keyboard accelerator, but it is useless untill its parent submenu has no an accelerator.
What do you mean? I see only 3 paste options: "Paste", "Paste as Plain text" and "Paste as environment". Which are other three?admin wrote:In 2.x+, "Paste as environment" is just one of 6 possible paste options.
BTW - if it is not a very big secret - why have you decided to remove this command from the context menu upper level? IMHO the current count of the commands in the context menu (11 entries) is far not too large, especially if you compare it to some similar apps as for instance MS Word (15 entries, including 6 submenus), TextMaker (15 entries) etc.admin wrote:Sorry, the old menu structure cannot be reinstated.
Yes, I understand and support this general concept. However there is no any other entry, which has "O" keyboard accelerator in your pop-up menu, neither in a regular context menu nor in a table one. So there would no any accelerator conflicts with [Paste &Options] accelerator. (Well, "O" key is used in the command "Spellcheck Options" in pop-up menu to a text selection, but "Paste Option" submenu is absent in this menu.)admin wrote:Some menu commands do not have keyboard accelerators in order to avoid duplicate accelerators.
Thank you! I hope adding a keyboard accelerator into the app source code will not extremely difficult task.admin wrote:We will see what can be done about this menu command. We will try to find a conflict-free combination of keyboard accelerators.

Please pay attention, that there is the same situation with the main menu: the submenu [Entry => Past Options] is one of the very few (2-3 only) main menu entries, which has no its own keyboard accelerator, although there is no any other entry with "O" accelerator in the [Edit] menu.
