Robert
Thanks for your quick reply.
I tried your suggestion and there is no problem using the rtf format for the template.
However, if I save the document in the docx format, the problem recurs when I re-open the docx document.
I guess that I'll stick to the rtf format for the time being, until ...

Bullet Style
Hi Robert:
Thanks for your reply. I've been very careful to use the correct template for Normal document, each time I open a new document.
What I've observed is that even in a document that is not a template, setting the "next Paragraph" to Bullet works until I save the document and close it. If I ...

Hello:
I'm trying to create a bullet style that continues the bullet to the next paragraph. I assign the next paragraph to "Bullet" in the style creation menu and save the document as a "normal" template.

non printing text
Robert:
Again, thanks. You're right, of course. However the macro is only one combination keystroke, and the way you suggest is a few more. However, this is a mere quibble.
The important things are:
1. I am able to accomplish the task

Non printing text
Robert:
Again, my thanks. I've come up with a similar work around that is perhaps a little easier, but it involves using a macro (Macro Express).
I format the text as you suggest, calling it "hidden" and having a blue color to distinguish it from other text.

Thank you for a very clever work around. It does work. Now, I would like to be able to apply this as a Style to selected text. As far as I can tell, the style creation menu does not allow a change in language. Any thoughts?
Cordially,
CRK

Hidden text
Hi:
I would like to be able to format text as "Hidden" and show on the screen but not print. This is a feature found in Softmaker and it is quite useful for me as I make notes in my records which are private and are not to be printed in a report.
Atlantis is more fun to use than Softmaker and I ...

Hidden Text and paragraph borders
Hi:
I'm just trying out Atlantis and I'm quite impressed so far.
However, for my work, I do need paragraph borders and hidden (non-printing) text.
Is there any chance that these may be added in the near future. I noticed requests for borders made several years ago but no implementation.
