Atlantis Word Processor Forum

I have long had to keep another word processor on my computer which I use ONLY when I need to make labels. Lately my computer has decided it doesn't recognize that program anymore, so I have to hand-write my labels.

Are there any plans in the works to create a label-printing function in Atlantis ...

It seems to me that I asked this question a long time ago and got an answer about paragraphs. But that was several versions ago and I am not finding the method I need to make a list and put it into alphabetical order.

OK, I upgraded. But I am still curious about the Integer Overflow message, and also I'd like to know what is new about the newer version. There was a mention of a possible CD manual for Atlantis. (sometime in the future). Any idea how far in the future???

:?: Occasionally while I am working with Atlantis, (version 1.1.2.2, Win 98 ) ... the program honks at me, freezes, and I get a gray message box with a red X that says, "integer overflow". I have to bail out of Atlantis, and sometimes even reboot.

I keep a file of HTML tags in Atlantis, which I then cut and paste into my text file as i'm working with it. It may not be down and dirty, but it's worked for me for a couple years now. If you can cut and paste both open and close tag, then type your text in between them, it's pretty fast.

Hello again. I seem to have suddenly got question marks in front of all my Atlantis file names now instead of the nice blue Atlantis logo. Will I lose all my files if I shut down? What have I done?

There is nothing in the help menu under big green question marks!

I want to type up a simple list and have it put into alphabetical order. This is NOT a table of contents and does not need hyperlinks. I've tried to find such a thing in the help menu but have not found it.

Is there a way I do this with Atlantis?

Hello. I sell on Ebay, and use several email accounts, and in the past I have often copied and pasted email addresses into Atlantis so that I could then choose which email program to use, rather than having the default email program open every time I click on an email address.

Thank you. I dislike "My Documents" because I can find no way to organize files. Possibly there is a way, but I have been accustomed to filing to Atlantis when I am using Atlantis, and filing "to" whatever program I'm in. Obviously, there's a lot I have to learn!

Yes thank you, I will do that for the read-only files. But what about my other question, which was:

Is there a way to save files directly into Atlantis without the endless cycling through from "My Documents" back around to Atlantis? Possibly this is a Windows function?
