I have been experimenting with different settings lately,
including both Page Settings and Formatting.
I went back and opened a couple of documents I worked on
recently, and I'm happy to report they all opened with the
very top of the page in view. Everything's working ...

As much as I like Atlantis, there is one "feature" I would change:
In other Word Processors, when the user presses Ctl+Home,
it sends the view back up to the very top of the document, with the
vertical scroll bar going all the way back up to its edge, and the
top of the document in full view.
