bye Atlantis
Atlantis is the best word processor I know. However it has some flaws... it cannot read straoffice format and it is availbable only for windows. i need using it omn mac and unix too so i am switching to OpenOffice Writer :?

atlantis does make safeguard copies as often as you wish
OPTIONS-LOAD/SAVE safeguard...,
you can see save state of a document by save icon in a toolbar, if saved, it is not in colour.... (as i asked in this forum long ago, now it works, thank you developers to read the phorum)))))

yes, openwriter supports docs well
but there will be soon (at least on linux) other apps which will support SXW, but their DOC support may be worse...
and most importantly, SXW is XML, so it can be parsed and analyzed by whatever custom software for whatever reason you dream of. So its support adds very much to portability

The 5 th date format from the drop-down menu of the Insert date toolbar button contains exactly the Long Date format.
in my previous message there is a prof that this sentence is simply not true
on the 5th, nor 6th (newer version of AOM has probably added some extra formats) nor anywhere else ...

czech grammar
atlantis does not but windows do... it is only matter of grabbing the right string from the OS, nothing more. It does not grab long date format from windows now as it is, but it surely can if repaired (many aplications do)

in czech language, when saying something like 30 december
you have to use slight different gramatical ... simply the name of the month is not in nominative
woindows reflects its ok.... u can see in windows dialog 30 prosinCE
but Atlantis uses nominative 30 prosinEC
