I suspect this could be related to selecting "Small/Large Fonts" for XP's Desktop settings. (Can remember, but I think it's "Large Fonts".) Right-click on an empty part of your desktop and select Properties | Settings | Advanced. Look in the "Display" section, in the DPI setting drop-down box.

I'd like a list of Biblical names & places. I use the NKJV, ESV, NIV & NLT so I don't need the Elizabethan english words.

Atlantis already has a "Word Count" toolbar button. You can also use the "Tools | Word Count" menu command.


I believe he's asking for an option to show the current word count in the status bar so it would be continually on display. Perhaps this could be a dual-figure e.g. "200:453" indicating ...

I hope you look at a powerful search & replace engine. I can do certain things in MS Word but I'd like more. I do a lot of Biblical writing.

In Word I can so a formatted search & replace to convert:

to

by using: \(*\)
in the Find What box ...

I tried deliberately running the margin out of my printers printable area (.1") but the preview doesn't seem any different than the old preview. Atlantis isn't indicating what would be clipped.

I see the "space after paragragh" is conditional i.e. no space if Both the "space before paragraph" and "space after paragraph" characteristics are "optional". Atlantis "removes" (does not display) them when they are not required.

I find Atlantis' File | Open box too small.

Using Details view I get 6 files,
compared to Word 2000, 14,
and Word 2002 with its fullscreen selection box, 50 on a 1280x1024 screen.

As well, the preview option works well in Word 2002 because the text is quite readible without double-clicking ...

If you use the 'Document Title' field you can enter any name you wish under File>Properties without having to zoom into the footer to edit. Also, if you need the field name to be empty, just use one spacebar press and then you won't see "(None)" as a field name.

As I understand things, you want to use custom "titles" in your footers, and not, for example, the document filename.
Then why not simply click inside the target section first footer and enter your desired "title"?
Even if you had a blank field to enter custom inputs, how could such a field ever ...

The "Clippy Library" feature is planned for future releases of Atlantis Ocean Mind. It will include such field combinations. You could quickly insert the desired field combination to your document by selecting it from the Clippy Library.
