I'll second this! I'm running W2K SP4 with an old nVidia card, and have no icon problems at all. Atlantis has made huge strides with this release.

An ellipsis, the "three dots" you mention, is NOT three presses on the full stop key. Try it. Select the "dots" on the menu ...
