Thanks, Robert. Did all that, still freezing ever minute or so Maybe I missed something but I think I turned off all backups and safe copies.

Turned off backups, can't figure out how to turn off 'safe copy', still is freezing.

I have Atlantis 1.6.5.13 and am using Windows 8.1 *cough*. Alantis constantly freezes for several seconds, every minute or so. Other than that it works great.
