I guess I must be confused. Maybe I created a different first page header and then left the first page header blank.

I'm sure that in previous versions of Atlantis (I'm using latest Beta version) there was a checkbox for "no first page header". I've just created a new section and I want its first page to have no header. I can't find, though, that checkbox I thought was there that disabled a section's first page ...

When cutting a whole page that has a page break at its head and which also has a footnote, when pasting that page into a different position in the document, if the footnote does not have bold formatting but the text in the page does, the footnote then appears with bold formatting.

As far as I can tell Atlantis is working fine. The about box says its 1.6.5.10 (b4).

Installed this new beta version today, but upon installing Windows told me this program might not have installed properly. I've had this warning with a few other programs in the past, but its never caused any problems.

I've discovered this happens after creating a new section and then giving that section its own footer. As well as causing footers to disappear it also causes the paragraph formatting of inserted numbers to change from centred to left aligned.

As a writer, I find having an integrated dictionary/thesaurus very handy. This makes hunting for le mot juste a much speedier affair than turning all those pages. And so I have WordWeb Pro with the Chambers Dictionary and Thesaurus package.

They've totally disappeared. No trace of them whatsoever.

This has happened several times now, and I don't know what I'm doing to cause this. I don't always notice its happened either until days later. Its happened on 2 different PCs and with the most recent and previous releases of Atlantis.

No. I checked the clock to see if that was the cause, but it wasn't. The time on my clock was correct.

It would be nice if Atlantis could enclose a paragraph in a box of a selectable colour, very much like fields can be hilighted, very much like quoting on some forums encloses the quote in a distinct box.

I've noticed a few times Atlantis goes into a backup frenzy. It will just sit there saving out backup file after backup file. Atlantis will do this until either I hit CTRL+S (in which case the backups will stop for a minute or two but then resume) or until I delete the backup file itself.

I sometimes use words borrowed from other languages such as French. Although these words are in common use in English, not all of these words appear in the English spellchecker.
