I hope this can be changed in the next version. I know there are certain phrasal hyphenated constructions like "one-in-a-million" that shouldn't necessarily be treated as one word, but there are relatively few of those in an average document ...

Word count and hyphenation
Atlantis counts hyphenated words wrongly, for example "mother-in-law" is counted as 3 words. Dates like "31-Jan-11" are also counted as 3 words, and as my documents tend to be full of these dates it is causing a massive word-count discrepancy for me.
