Thanks, Robert. I had found that spot on Avast but was unsure how safe it was to click it. I will now do that and thank you very much.

I can "exclude" Atlantis files from being scanned by Avast, if you think that is a good idea...

Roland, your suggestion worked just fine. However I have no idea if it solved the problem because this morning it seemed to have done an Oral Roberts and healed itself.

However, there is beyond question NO OTHER PROGRAM which is editing my document.

Which still leaves me with the mystery of why I get that notification.

But I don't. I pulled up the task bar and only one version.

But when I try to save something I get the notice that "Another program is editing this document" and if you save etc etc

I finally told it not to show me this again, but I wonder if there's something else I can do. My current version is ...

I've tried looking in Tools and tools/ options but nothing seems right.

I'm referring to the feature that puts a word up highlighted in blue as i type, usually wrong.

Where do I FIND registration details?

If I had them to begin with I would have done so long ago.

OK, I did everything you suggested and now it is still telling me it's unregistered and it didn't make a shortcut, so I did, but worst of all, it STILL doesn't show up in the list of programs.

I truly don't know what else I can do.

Hi, I've been using Atlantis since 2000, and I love it. But it doesn't seem to recognize my new printer. Which is odd because my other programs are fine with it.

When I click "print" I get the "cachunk" sound and a message that says "Cannot initiate printer". What the hey? It's already initiated ...
