I like to use a spreadsheet style for my characters and all the places, etc., they visit and run amuk and such.
Excel just doesn't cut it for me.

You might not need OpenOffice or Word in any case, domynoe. Softmaker Office contains workmanlike software, and the outdated 2006 version is free at <http://www.softmakeroffice.com/>. This would be a useful feature. Peer-reviewed journals tend to expect contributors to submit revised drafts using comments and tracked changes. Academic publishers also tend to expect writers to compile their own indexes... these features would make Atlantis very desirable to writers and scholars ...

I don't run different versions of Atlantis, no.

At the time my menus became corrupt, I'm certain I was running Atlantis 1.6.4.3, though I may have been running a much earlier version when I started modifying Atlantis hotkeys and menus. These modifications normally last from session to session; I couldn't achieve such modifications if they didn't.
