Hi Bolter,
I suspect you have accidentally pressed the "insert" or "overtype" key on your keyboard. Esaily done. Pressing this key again should give you back the behaviour you want.

OK. Probably no need to answer. I guess it was done in multi-column mode which is OK for a one-off but only as a work around. It is a pity that graphics could not be fixed in Atlantis as well as other things have been.
